so it's summeer! ( obviously ) & i put together a list of must havees us girls need for summer. and it's good because they're all from the drugstore so we caan afford it! this is my first tip, madee outta boredom so don't hatee plz. (:
makeup ;
- maybelline ' the Falsies' waterproof mascara
so this is arouund $5-$8 dollars, depending on wheree youu live. i got mine for fivee. it's good because it gives you volume and has a nice wand. plus if you get it in waterproof, then you caan wear it to the beach / pool & not havee to worry about it dripping down youur face!
- covergirl aqua smoothers tinted moisturizer
in summer, it's SUPERDUPER hot so youu don't want a face full of foundation, blush, concealer, etcetc but you still want coverage? turn to tinted moisturizer. i'm currently using this one by covergirl ; it gives you a light coverage, you don't feel it on your face, & has spf 15 to protect you from the sun! plus you can wear this in the water & it won't wash off. (:
- wet n wild h2o waterproof liquid eyeliner
i personally ♥ liquid eyeliner because it makes my eyes look more bigger and completes my look. i can never go anywhere w/o wearing liquid eyeliner & i do go to the pool a lot so i HAD to buy a waterproof one. this one is GREAT. it's only $1! i recommend this one to you if you're in need of a great one.
- revlon skinlight cream eyeshadows
instead of powder eyeshadow, which will wash off in the pool, stock up on some cream eyeshadows! these ones by revlon are great, you can just swipe a color on your lid & you're good to go! from past experience, they stay on all day! (:
- cream blush
i personally don't wear blush, but for all you girls thaat do, i recommend cream blush for summer / the water! just like POWDERED eyeshadows, they wash off when you're in the pool but cream stays on your face! i think covergirl & nyc has some? i'm not sure but try to find some good ones!
- tinted chapstick
again, i don't use tinted chapstick, i just use regular chapstick from nivea but if you want some extra color on your lips & don't like the stickiness of lipgloss then go to tinted chapstick! it feels light, just like chapstick, but gives you an extra color! ♥

body ;
- jergens natural glow
so based off the revies, it gives you a 'natural & gradual' tan that builds up over time. instead of instant tanner, which sometimes streaks & can leave you looking orange, use this one! it makes your skin a little darker by time & according to the bottle, it is firming so it hides the look of cellulite! i just bought this & i'm soo excited to try it.
- deodorant
okay seriously . . . YOU NEED DEODORANT. it doesn't matter if you "don't sweat", you need this. not just in summer either. it will make you smell good & reduces sweat if you buy an antiperspirant one. i currently use this cucumber one by dove!
- scrubs / masks
scrubs will exfoliate your skin to make it softer by getting rid of the deaad skin cells. it will be perfect with youur new tan ! (; some good ones are ones by st. ives.
masks for your face will make your skin look sooo much better. this one by Queen Helene is called the Mint Julep mask. & comes in a tube so you can use it once a week & i bought mine at target. this stuff does wonders, seriously.
- lotion
self explanatory, you need soft skin ahah. there are a lot of different brands ; jergens, nivea, st. ives, dove, aveeno. & those are all just drugstore (:
- neutrogena sport sunscreen
unless you want cancer, then PLEASE use sunscreen. it will help you from wrinkling, BAD sunburns that peel, & SKIN CANCER. this isn't a laughing matter, please use sunscreen. neutrogena has this nice sunscreen, & other brands too.
- body spray / perfume
helps make you smell good! dove has some good body sprays that smell soooo good. ♥
hair ;
- dry shampoo
for nights where you are having a sleepover & accidentally knock out and forget to wash your but then wake up with oily hair? or when you just don't wash your hair, then dry shampoo can absorb the oil & make your head smell good. i don't use it, but i know walmart / target sell some. :D
- herbal essences tousle me softly mousse
you can use this mousse to scrunch your hair for beach waves instead of straightening / curling your hair! it saves time & saves your HAIR.
